A new land. A new world. A new Rome.

49 B.C.

After Julius Caesar crosses the Rubicon, the Optimate Senators, representative of the elite Roman nobility, decide to escape Caesar’s advancing forces. Initially planning to flee to Greece, their leader, General Gnaeus Pompey Magnus, opts for Spain, believing it offers the necessary resources and reinforcements.

However, fate intervenes. A fierce storm drives their ships off course, leading them to an uncharted land beyond the known world. As they land on the shores of a wilderness teeming with unfamiliar ecosystems and indigenous peoples, they resolve to establish a new Roman Republic.

The growth of the new society pushes expansion west into the vast uncharted expanse beyond their known world. Tensions rise as confrontations with the Remans to the north, indigenous peoples in the west, and Aztecs to the south become more frequent.

Ward Clark (as Anderson Gentry) creatively intertwines historical events with fantastical elements, exploring a world where a new society rises from the legacy of the Roman Empire. The rich character development and engaging narratives propel readers into a re-imagined history filled with action and intrigue.
